While styling an outfit is necessary and so is styling them according to color and season, one thing which most people overlook and most women splurge most cash on is accessorization. While we have the obvious in the form of wallet, there are several things which people forget to give a notice or if they do make purchases seeing their favorite model or influencer or actor, they do it in a wrong way.

Here are 5 essentials that every guy needs in their arsenal which will instantly take their outfit from a 5 to a perfect 10.

1. Watch

Watch is one of the oldest and one of the most sold accessories that even today miss out on. While having a habit a watch every day for your life is something that rarely guys build upon, and having a collection that they can pass to their future generation is becoming even rarer. Certainly, you don't need to buy the Rolex or Audmeir Piguet if you're just starting and stay away from fakes, instead purchase inexpensive brands like Titan, Casio, Daniel Wellington, Seiko, and Fossil. Avoid smartwatches either for your first watch because they're expensive and goes out of fashion faster than they're released because of technological change. For your first watch, keep it simple & plain with maybe a brown or black leather band silver case analog watch or a silver metal chain chronograph analog watch or maybe if you have an active lifestyle something like Casio G-Shock. Once you're done with your preliminary watches, you can go for something from like higher options from Casio, Titan & Seiko, or even brands like Maserati and Armani. After all of this, if you get a taste for collecting watches then you can start with brands like Longines, Grand Seiko, Breitling, Omega, Rolex, Hublot, and the list goes on.

Pro Tip: Don't go for big watches which are bigger than your wrist nor for extremely small watches, measure your wrist and stay around that. For men's, usually, 40-44mm is suitable, rest it'll vary according to your physique taste.

2. Sunglasses

Sunglasses were made with a certain purpose, it wasn't for fashion or style statement which they do extremely well, but to protect your eyes. The skin around your eyes is quite sensitive compared to the rest of your face and so are your eyes, sunglasses protect them from harmful sun rays which overtime harm them which results in wrinkles, dark circles, fine lines, etc. While it is also safe to wear them while driving to keep your eyes safe from direct suns which will result in better visibility and control. While the industry has always pushed polarised glasses which are useful as they cut the light from reflective objects and perform better but they're costly, especially if you get them in prescription glasses. It will be your discretion to see what sets in your budget. Again stay away from cheap and fake sunglasses as they don't help and are quite harmful in the long run.

Pro Tip: Notice 3 digits on the website or the handles of the glasses, those are the size of your glasses. Just take a cloth measuring tape and measure your temple which is an edge to edge to your eyebrows, and match around the addition of those 3 digits. If the number is too small, they're small for your face and vice versa.

3. Rings

Rings have been long seen as something that signifies someone. It could be a family signet ring from old American-Italian Mafia, it could be a wedding ring or it could be a religious ring based upon astrology & superstition. Whatever it might be, rings aren't just limited to those significances but rather they're an accessory which can be worn without any significance as well.

Pro Tip: Before buying off the rack or thrift shopping style ring, ask a jeweler or accessory maker to check your ring size, and buy around that for a perfect fit. Check them every other year as the fingers grow as well. Also! Clean them with some alcohol-based cleaner to keep them dirt & grime free which can unconsciously reach your face.

4. Necklace

One piece of jewelry which heavily connected with femininity, Afro-American Gang Members & Hip-Hop Artists because of their stereotypical portrayal around the world. From John Cena's early persona of wearing big locks around his neck which carried into FF Tokyo Drift and Japanese Culture as well to 50 Cent & 2 Chainz wearing heavy chains around their neck to our Bappi Lehri. But, in 2020 we need to focus on minimalism & for that purpose stick with simple and small pendant along with a simple chain. Nothing too flashy is needed.

Pro Tip: Make sure to keep your chain clean & fresh to avoid any kind of rashes, as well as stick away from the chain which grasps your skin in the long run.

5. Bracelets

While wearing Kadha or any kind of bangle because of religious significance or threads in several different religions is different, bracelets are different. What we are focussed are quite different as they serve an aesthetic purpose to your whole look. They vary from as simple as beads & anchors to something flashy like full-on bracelets.

Pro Tip: If you're gonna wear them with your watch, keep them simple & minimal as they might bang with your watch and scratch it up, and if you're gonna wear on your non-watch hand, keep them to a maximum of 2-3 and avoid rubber bands which looks extremely immature.

While these are just a few essentials, accessories can be even more unique to your style & taste which we will talk about in our further articles.
