While talking about overall essentials in our previous article, there are few we need to mention which are especially essential for the current weather, which is the Summer season. While few of the essentials will come in handy all year round, there are certain few which have a special place in the hot weather.

Our list of 6 summer essentials every guy need are:
1. Bandana

A kerchief, also known as a bandana or/and bandanna, is a triangular or square piece of cloth tied around the head or neck for protective or decorative purposes. A bandana can absorb perspiration and can shield the back of your neck from sunburn. If it is dunked in cold water before you put it on, and especially if it is one of those high-tech neck scarves with cooling crystals inside, it can help you keep your core body temperature lower on a hot day.
They're notoriously popular because of two reasons: first being Sam Kolder, and his obsession with a bandana in his photos & travel vlogs, and secondly, it's the connection with gang members in modern-day American crime families and gangs. Most of the colors or designs are usually notice or warn you of their identity or gang but in the modern world, several people have started to embrace it as an accessory popular around beach & tropical areas.
2. Shorts

Now, shorts are something highly confused because of their length. So, anything which is below the knee is out of context and question as they're an absolute no. So, thinking of wearing cargo or Capri are a no go. Instead, get something that ends just above the knee. But, not short enough to expose your butt as girls wear. Ideally, keep it around 2-3 inches above the knee. For the fabric, you can go for denim, which will be more of a casual streetwear look, swim shorts if you plan for a beach day or pool party and linen or cotton shorts if you wanna wear it with a bit of a classy & formal vibe along with polo t-shirts.
3. Polo T-Shirts

Polo T-Shirts are something heavily confused and criticized, while some people look awesome in them and some don't. So, the first thing is fitting, unlike our normal t-shirts, don't get loose polo t-shirts, they look shabby and will give you a dad's bod feel and don't get it extremely tight that it leaves marks after 1 wear. Second is the logo, avoid those big Ralph Lauren or Polo Assassin logo and the big horses on the chest like you're going for a game of polo, instead wear something plain and something sleek. Our preferred choice would be White Polo with Blue Chinos and White Sneakers for the day time and black or grey polo with white chinos and black or grey sneaker for night time.
4. Floral Shirt

While floral shirts or Hawaiian shirts are always trending in summers, be it GTA Vice City or Miami & California based shows but in recent years, the popularity of linen based floral shirts have in high demand. Linen is a textile made from the fibers of the flax plant. Linen is very strong and absorbent and dries faster than cotton. They are better options than other fabrics for daily wear in summers. You can go for something like white with a minimal floral motif or black with a big floral motif and vice versa.
5. Cap

Caps are not just an item to look stylish or cool. Instead, its main purpose is to provide us comfort during different seasons. These caps are a must in your wardrobe during summers as they not just cover your head but also protect your face, hair, and eyes from the dangerous heat of the scorching sun. You can go for something classic like a fedora or Panama hat or maybe something even more American like a cowboy hat and alternatively for more modern & streetwear aesthetic you can go for something like snapback or baseball cap.
6. Deodorant

Deodorant is a skincare product that helps to keep your underarms smelling fresh. Rather than stopping sweat like antiperspirant, a deodorant works on the bacteria on the skin to stop the odor from escaping from your pits. When we perspire, these bacteria digest the fats and proteins in our sweat. While making sure to get a roll one style or something that you can apply after a shower and will stay for longer hours while won't leave stains on your underarms or clothing.
While these are just a few essentials, they're not limited to this alone. There are several more than just this which you should have but would depend according to the weather and the location.
